The Texas Department of Transportation selected MicroStrategy for the reporting and analysis of timely and accurate data to help improve the safety of Texas roadways. Using MicroStrategy, the Texas Department of Transportation will analyze accident reports to assist the law enforcement community in placing officers in areas where policing may lead to reduced traffic accidents and deaths. MicroStrategy replaced multiple, disparate manual processes and now enables the Texas Department of Transportation to improve decision making and aid transportation planning efforts.
