Sainsbury’s has purchased a Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance to integrate and centralise its growing data volumes

LONDON (April 24, 2012) –  Teradata (NYSE: TDC), the analytic data solutions company, today announced that Sainsbury’s, one of the UK’s leading supermarket groups, has purchased a Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance to accommodate its rapidly expanding data warehouse requirements.

Rob Fraser, chief information officer, Sainsbury’s said: “We are delighted to announce Teradata as our data warehouse provider and business partner and we are looking forward to developing our relationship together.”
