ParAccel, Inc., JasperSoft Corporation and Talend today announced a collaboration to deliver an integrated, end-to-end environment for high performance analytic processing. The analytic solution combines the best in open source and commercial software into a quick-to-implement and extremely cost-effective platform for integrating and analyzing large amounts of business-critical information at record-breaking speeds. The companies will be showcasing their combined interoperability with a technology demonstration in ParAccel Booth #109 at the TDWI World Conference.
The joint activity involves data integration software from Talend, database management software from ParAccel and business intelligence software from JasperSoft. Talend’s data integration suite connects seamlessly to heterogeneous data sources and synchronizes data delivery for real time and operational BI. The ParAccel Analytic Database delivers differentiated speed and scalability for complex analytic processing. JasperSoft’s business intelligence suite provides integrated reporting and analysis and data integration so organizations can make faster, better decisions. This seamless product interoperability will help organizations to rapidly develop and deploy high performance business analytics to more users with less cost.

An Integrated, Embedded Solution
Already available, Talend Open Studio v3 embeds jointly-engineered adaptors that integrate Talend and ParAccel. Customers can now enjoy the rich functionality of Talend’s award winning data integration solutions and initiate ParAccel’s scalable, parallel loading directly from within the Talend interface. In addition, these connectors support the ELT architecture on ParAccel’s systems, leveraging the database engine for high throughput data transformation. This gives joint customers of Talend and ParAccel an extremely powerful yet affordable way to meet ever-increasing data integration needs. The Talend Adaptors for ParAccel are also included with Jaspersoft’s JasperETL, which is powered by Talend.
In addition to ensuring its ongoing interoperability with the JasperSoft Business Intelligence Suite, beginning in the first Quarter of 2009, ParAccel will embed JasperServer Professional 3.0 within the ParAccel Analytic Database Management Console to provide ParAccel customers with an out-of-the-box repository for system monitoring and reporting. A full set of customizable report templates, generated with JasperSoft iReport and pre-loaded into JasperServer, will be included with every ParAccel system so administrators can easily manage reporting of system-level data automatically stored in ParAccel’s system tables. Administrators will be able to use the rich features of JasperServer to monitor, profile, analyze, and chart system activity, and to schedule and distribute automated reports to keep users informed of system trends. ParAccel will provide first-line support for customers using the integrated console functionality.

Effective immediately, ParAccel Professional Services will incorporate JasperSoft’s and Talend’s solutions into their standard PS toolkit to facilitate rapid prototyping at customer sites. The companies will also cooperate in targeted sales and marketing activities.
