Bi3 Solutions chooses Jaspersoft and Infobright to meet demand for enterprise-class âBI as a Serviceâ solution
MySQL Conference & Expo 2009, SANTA CLARA, California (April 20, 2009) –
Jaspersoft, provider of the world’s most widely used business intelligence (BI) software, and Infobright, the open source data warehousing company, today announced that Bi3 Solutions has chosen the companies’ joint BI project to build an end-to-end BI suite.
The joint, open source project from Jaspersoft and Infobright, which includes BI, extract-transform-load (ETL) and data warehousing capabilities, was introduced today at the MySQL Conference and Expo: http://www.jaspersoft.com/nw_press.html.
Bi3 Solutions, a provider of on-premise and virtual on-demand BI and Collaborative Performance Management solutions, is using Jaspersoft and Infobright as the foundation for its Virtual Business Intelligence Center (VBIC). The VBIC, which uses a variation of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, offers Bi3 Solutions customers’ with a comprehensive set of on-demand BI services that support critical business decisions and drive operational efficiencies.
Bi3 Solutions chose Jaspersoft and Infobright for their mature product features and flexible integration capabilities, allowing the company to deliver an enterprise-class solution to customers. Jaspersoft and Infobright will provide the reporting, analytics and data warehousing components for the VBIC, which goes beyond traditional BI applications to provide a fully functional and state-of-the-art virtual BI competency center solution.
