Only Company To Earn Multiple Awards

McLean, VA, (November 05, 2003) –

MicroStrategy® Incorporated (NASDAQ: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, today announced that it has won two 2003 DM Review Readership Awards for the categories of Analytic Applications, Business Performance Management and Web Analytics and Business Intelligence. MicroStrategy was the only company to win multiple awards. Annually, DM Review enlists a research firm to poll readers to determine the top companies serving the technology needs of the business intelligence community in specific market segments.

The Gantry Group, LLC, a Massachusetts-based strategic advisory and research firm, conducted an independent survey of DM Review readers from mid-June through July 2003. Survey participants were presented with defined product categories and asked to select the vendors of products in use in their organization. They were then asked to rate these companies using a four-point scale ranging from excellent to poor. The 2003 DM Review Readership Award winners were identified based on the ratings and number of respondents.

“Each year our highly informed readers identify the companies that provide industry-leading solutions. Our readers recognize the quality of MicroStrategy’s Business Intelligence Platform(TM) for overall business intelligence, as well as for analytic applications,” said Jean Schauer, Editor in Chief of DM Review. “We sincerely congratulate MicroStrategy and commend them for their commitment to excellence.”

“This accolade from DM Review readers is a true testament of the quality and superb technology that we provide to our customers,” said MicroStrategy’s COO Sanju Bansal. “MicroStrategy is extremely proud to win this prestigious award from DM Review. We take great pride in developing industrial-strength software with exceptional, user-friendly reporting features, outstanding Web deployability, superior data and user scalability, and powerful analytics.”

The 2003 DM Review Readership Awards winners are featured in the November 2003 issue of DM Review.
