Jaspersoft and leading software distributor AsiaSoft partner to meet growing demand for Jaspersoftâs professional BI suite
SAN FRANCISCO (January 14, 2009) –
Jaspersoft, provider of the world’s most widely used business intelligence (BI) software, today announced a strategic partnership with AsiaSoft, a leading value-added distributor for world-class IT products in Greater China.
AsiaSoft will be focused on localizing and reselling Jaspersoft’s Professional BI Suite in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Translation into Chinese represents the sixth language supported by Jaspersoft’s Professional Edition product line and will create commercial opportunities from a large, existing community of users. Other languages supported include English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.
Because the Greater China market ranks third among all regions worldwide in Jaspersoft community activity (trailing only the United States and Germany), the possibilities for commercial success are many. The companies plan to collaborate on local marketing and sales activities to ensure organizations in the major economic centers of the region have access to Jaspersoft’s full suite of commercial products, support and training as integral components of the AsiaSoft partnership.
